Job Summary
A retail marketing company is in need of a Remote Principal Data Architect.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Leading the development of current and target state data eco-system architectures
- Ensuring recommended architectural designs and patterns are adhered to as part of delivery
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams for data architectures and design
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Must have demonstrated proficiency in how cloud service offerings support data solutions
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality and data security
- Experience writing SQL queries, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, creating Tables, Views and Indexes
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related engineering discipline or five (5) years of related experience
- Knowledge of various data architecture patterns including OLTP, data warehousing, data lake and distributed data systems
