Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist

Job Summary

Offering a full-time remote opportunity, the Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist will review and process medication requests, apply clinical judgment to determine coverage, and communicate with healthcare providers while working from home.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and process prior authorization requests for medications
• Apply clinical judgment and pharmaceutical knowledge to determine coverage based on clinical guidelines and plan criteria
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate documentation of determinations and communications

Required qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in any U.S. state (multi-state preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of prior authorization, managed care, or clinical experience preferred
• Reliable high-speed internet connection
• Strong attention to detail and clinical acumen
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
