Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist

Job Summary

Offering a full-time remote opportunity, the Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist will review and process prior authorization requests for medications, applying clinical judgment and pharmaceutical knowledge while communicating with healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and process prior authorization requests for medications
• Apply clinical judgment and pharmaceutical knowledge to determine coverage based on clinical guidelines and plan criteria
• Communicate with prescribers and healthcare providers as needed

Required qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in any U.S. state (multi-state preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of prior authorization, managed care, or clinical experience preferred
• Reliable high-speed internet (must include speed test from www.speedtest.net on resume)
