Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist

Job Summary

Offering a full-time remote opportunity, the Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist will review and process medication prior authorization requests, applying clinical judgment and communicating with healthcare providers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and process prior authorization requests for medications
• Apply clinical judgment and pharmaceutical knowledge to determine coverage based on clinical guidelines and plan criteria
• Communicate with prescribers and healthcare providers as needed

Required qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in any U.S. state (multi-state preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of prior authorization, managed care, or clinical experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and clinical acumen
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
• Reliable high-speed internet connection
