Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist

Job Summary

Offering a full-time remote opportunity, the Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist will review and process medication prior authorization requests, apply clinical judgment, and communicate with healthcare providers while working from home.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and process prior authorization requests for medications
• Apply clinical judgment and pharmaceutical knowledge to determine coverage based on clinical guidelines
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate documentation of determinations

Required qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in any U.S. state (multi-state preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of prior authorization, managed care, or clinical experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and clinical acumen
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
• Reliable high-speed internet connection
