Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist

Job Summary

To support patient care and provider inquiries, the full-time Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist will review and process medication prior authorization requests while working from home.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and process prior authorization requests for medications
• Apply clinical judgment and pharmaceutical knowledge to determine coverage based on clinical guidelines
• Communicate with prescribers and healthcare providers as needed

Required qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in any U.S. state (multi-state preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of prior authorization, managed care, or clinical experience preferred
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
• Reliable high-speed internet connection
