Remote Product Owner
Job Summary
To support the development of software solutions, the full-time Remote Product Owner will manage backlog prioritization, translate business needs into actionable items, and collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure timely project execution.
Key responsibilities
- Own and maintain the backlog in Azure DevOps, developing an understanding of all active work items
- Translate stakeholder needs into concise work items for the development team, participating in refinement and sizing discussions
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize the backlog and support the development of a product roadmap
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a Product Owner or similar role supporting software development
- Demonstrated experience managing a software product backlog using Azure DevOps or a comparable tool
- Experience working with both technical teams and business stakeholders to translate needs into software requirements
- Strong experience in data-informed decision-making using metrics or user feedback
- Product Owner, Scrum, or Agile certification is a plus
