Job Summary
Detail-oriented and highly skilled, the part-time Remote Proofreader will review and refine content to ensure accuracy, readability, and brand consistency while working remotely during specified hours.
Key responsibilities:
- Proofread and edit advertising and promotional projects for grammar, accuracy, and compliance with brand guidelines
- Maintain strict adherence to deadlines and create/update proofreading best practices
- Collaborate with project managers and designers to ensure content meets client objectives and resolve issues
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English or Journalism
- Minimum of 3 years of professional-level proofreading experience
- Experience in healthcare/medical or another highly regulated industry preferred
- Technical proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Proficient in AP and/or Chicago Manual of Style and standard proofreading marks
