Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the overnight Proofreader will perform detailed proofreading of various financial documents, ensuring accuracy and consistency before filing with the SEC, while managing a fast-paced workload.
Key responsibilities:
- Proofread edits from diverse sources, including Word, PDF, Excel, PPT, and HTML files
- Conduct full quality checks on financial documents before submission and after client revisions
- Ensure all logos, graphics, and document content are accurate and of high quality
Required qualifications:
- 1-2 years of proofreading experience or a degree in English or a related field; experience in financial printing is a plus
- Strong command of written English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Ability to maintain focus and accuracy while working on lengthy and technical documents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with high-volume workloads
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and potential overtime during peak periods
