Job Summary

An insurance company has a current position open for a Remote Property Claims Specialist II.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle minor to moderate property claims
• Contact involved parties primarily through written and telephone communication
• Provide complete, courteous, and timely customer service to aid in the settlement process and maintain customer satisfaction

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• 8 weeks weeks of training in our California training facility
• Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) and no experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Successful completion of in-house training program
• Written and verbal communication skill to effectively and professionally negotiate with insureds, public adjusters, vendors, attorneys, etc.
• Some exercise of independent judgment which may have a significant impact on the Company
• Knowledge of established Company policies and procedures, with emphasis in claims operations
