Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, and provide individual psychotherapy while adhering to compliance and documentation standards.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose psychiatric disorders and conduct individual psychotherapy for patients across the lifespan
- Collaborate with team members to develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans, including prescribing medications and monitoring their effects
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient histories, treatment plans, and compliance with HIPAA and other regulations
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health, with a focus on treating adults and individuals with severe mental illness
- Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth technology
