Job Summary
To support patients in their recovery journey, the part-time Remote Pulmonary Rehab Therapist will provide pulmonary rehabilitation and therapeutic programming, including patient assessments, personalized care plans, and education on healthy lifestyles, all within a fully remote work structure.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive health assessments and monitor patient progress, adjusting rehabilitation plans as necessary
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including exercise prescriptions and behavioral coaching
- Provide education and counseling on health, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications to promote adherence to the rehabilitation program
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in respiratory care or a related field
- 3+ years of experience working in a clinical or rehabilitation setting with pulmonary patients
- Current BLS certification and either CRT or RRT certification
- Knowledge of pulmonary disease management and behavior change techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support patients
