Job Summary
A company is looking for a Remote Software Engineer for a 12-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python
- Develop and optimize relational database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL
- Build and manage scalable microservices with best practices in mind
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience with Python (Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL including performance tuning and advanced query optimization
- 2+ years building and deploying microservices in production environments
- Experience working with RESTful APIs or third-party API integrations
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote team environment
