Remote RCM Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Remote RCM Specialist III will manage end-to-end revenue cycle management functions including insurance verification, billing, collections, and customer service while acting as an internal expert and assisting with training and special projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assigned RCM activities such as insurance verification, claims submission, and payment posting while adhering to best practices and internal SOPs
• Provide ongoing training and support to team members on billing and coding procedures, compliance, and best practices
• Continuously evaluate RCM processes to identify inefficiencies and propose strategies to improve collection rates and reduce aged receivables

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience in dental office workflows and revenue cycle functions, including insurance verification and claims submission
• Knowledge of reimbursement and compliance processes with various payors
• Experience with practice management software systems, insurance portals, and strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) credentials preferred
