Remote Registered EEG Technician

Job Summary

To support the Epilepsy-Neurological Institute, the full-time Remote Registered Monitor Technician Reader will perform long-term monitoring of patients, present clinical data during rounds, and write detailed reports on EEG patterns and seizure activity.

Key responsibilities

• Perform long-term monitoring of adult and pediatric patients using specialized equipment
• Present patient history, EEG, and video data during daily rounds for staff physicians
• Write final reports detailing EEG patterns, seizure semiology, and radiologic findings

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Registered EEG Technologist (R.EEG.T) certification with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Two years of recent technical experience in epilepsy long-term monitoring or routine EEG lab
• Experience with bedside monitoring systems
• Technical/computer experience preferred
