Remote Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

Compassionate and self-motivated, the full-time Remote Registered Nurse (RN) will provide telephonic clinical assessments, health education, and utilization management services while working from home in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments and triage using telecommunications in accordance with established protocols and guidelines
• Utilize critical thinking to identify patient care needs, risk issues, and appropriate health care referrals
• Adhere to nursing standards and company policies while processing calls and delivering health education

Required qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN licensure in a compact state and good standing
• Minimum of an associate degree in nursing; BSN preferred
• At least 3 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in ER, adult and pediatric care, or acute care settings
• Ability to work evenings and at least two weekend days every two weeks
• Experience with telephone triage and bilingual skills are a plus
