Job Summary
A game development company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Rigging Character Technical Gaming Development Artist.
Must be able to:
- Establish and maintain rigging pipelines and standards between Maya and Unreal Engine
- Work closely with the animation team to implement control rigs to improve and simplify their workflow
- Propose and implement tools to produce the best possible results and incorporate them seamlessly into the existing pipeline
Position Requirements Include:
- Experience creating and maintaining a rigging pipeline with an emphasis on facial rigging and implementation of expressive blendshapes
- In-depth knowledge of Maya
- Python, Scripting for Maya tool
- Ability to establish and maintain rigging pipelines and standards between Maya and Unreal Engine
- Ability to liaise with Art, Animation, Mocap, Tech and Production
- Ability to work closely with the animation team to implement control rigs to improve and simplify their workflow
