Remote Scrum Master

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Scrum Master will facilitate agile development processes for a federal IT modernization project, serving as the primary liaison between the contractor team and the USDA's Product Owner while ensuring the team delivers value every sprint.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact between the contractor team and USDA's Product Owner
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Manage and supervise all contractor personnel on the project

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project or program management, with at least 3 years as a Scrum Master or agile coach
• Experience managing contractor teams on federal government IT contracts
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) strongly preferred
• Familiarity with agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
