Job Summary

A software design and development firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Security Operations Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Guiding the creation of new detection use cases
• Coordinating with other departments to handle incidents or their prevention
• Ensuring all systems and services in our environment are securely configured and monitored

Qualifications Include:

• 1-2 years of aggregate experience in similar roles
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in shell scripting and/or Python
• Good knowledge of IaaS solutions such as AWS, GCP or Azure
• Strong understanding of monitoring and detection technologies in cloud network architectures with complex topologies
• Comfortable with using only the terminal to complete tasks
