Remote Security Operations Engineer
Job Summary
A software design and development firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Security Operations Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Guiding the creation of new detection use cases
- Coordinating with other departments to handle incidents or their prevention
- Ensuring all systems and services in our environment are securely configured and monitored
Qualifications Include:
- 1-2 years of aggregate experience in similar roles
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in shell scripting and/or Python
- Good knowledge of IaaS solutions such as AWS, GCP or Azure
- Strong understanding of monitoring and detection technologies in cloud network architectures with complex topologies
- Comfortable with using only the terminal to complete tasks
