Job Summary
A software development firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Data Platform Software Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Designing and building tooling and frameworks
- Understanding the needs of data engineering and data science groups and deliver best-in-class solutions for them
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Experience with and/or exposure to a variety of datastores
- Experience building and deploying large-scale distributed systems
- Experience with at least one of the following languages: Python, Rust, Java, Scala
- Strong working knowledge of relational databases and query authoring
