Remote Senior IT Asset Manager
Job Summary
An IT and engineering firm needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior IT Asset Manager.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Supporting the total asset visibility (TAV), logistics, maintenance, and warranty of assets
- Ensuring assets are identified, controlled, and maintained throughout their lifecycle
- Documenting processes, procedures, and controls to enable an effective asset management practice
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- BS Degree and 8 to 10 years' experience or a high school diploma/equivalent with minimum 12 years' experience
- Demonstrated experience with IT asset management
- Demonstrated experience with aligning asset management and configuration management data and processes
- Demonstrated experience with asset management databases (e.g., asset register, CMDB) and other ITSM tools, solutions, software
- ITIL v3 and/or ITIL 4 Foundation to align with the latest version of DESMF or ability to obtain
- Certified TBM Executive (CTBME) or ability to obtain
