Job Summary

A non-profit public health monitoring organization has a current position open for a Remote Senior Public Health Editor.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

Managing a team of associate editors, copywriters, and reporters, holding them accountable to deadlines
Overseeing the writing and editing of stories on our nonprofit health news site
Assisting the Editor-in-chief in planning and coordinating editorial calendars for multiple health campaigns

Skills and Requirements Include:

Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, or related field
Minimum five years editing experience
Minimum two years experience managing a team of writers
Knowledge of SEO, social media best practices, and CMS experience
Outstanding communication skills
Ability in copywriting, editing, and researching
