Job Summary

A media production company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior SQL Database Administrator.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Working as the operational database subject matter expert to maintain and tune our existing SQL Server infrastructure
  • Assisting in efforts to utilize public cloud-based data stores, both relational and document based
  • Assisting our operations team in opportunities for systems and database structure improvements

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar major required
  • Expertise in SQL Server performance tuning
  • 8+ years of experience as a SQL Server database administrator
  • Experience with implementation of SQL Server high availability solutions
  • Experience with SQL Server Integration Services
  • Strong communications, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
