Job Summary

An ecommerce company is seeking a Remote Senior SQL Server and MySQL Database Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage MySQL and SQL Server databases
  • Configure and maintain database servers and processes
  • Troubleshoot and maintain automated regular processes, track issues, and document changes

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 10+ years MS SQL Server and MySQL Administration experience
  • Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization
  • Experience with backups, restores, and recovery techniques
  • Experience working in AWS environments
  • Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server such as Always On
  • Experience with MySQL Replication techniques
