An ecommerce company is seeking a Remote Senior SQL Server and MySQL Database Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Manage MySQL and SQL Server databases
- Configure and maintain database servers and processes
- Troubleshoot and maintain automated regular processes, track issues, and document changes
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 10+ years MS SQL Server and MySQL Administration experience
- Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization
- Experience with backups, restores, and recovery techniques
- Experience working in AWS environments
- Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server such as Always On
- Experience with MySQL Replication techniques
