Job Summary

A science and technology company has an open position for a Remote Senior System Cloud Firewall Resources Administrator.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing high level UNIX/LINUX/Macintosh admin expertise as needed for NIA IRP
  • Monitoring and analyzing audit files for a variety of sources and platforms
  • Performing vulnerability assessments and identify ways of mitigating risk to IRP information system resources

Required Skills:

  • Experience with VMware virtual networking, virtual distributed switches, VMware kernel ports, iSCSI connections
  • Experience installing and maintaining copper and fiber optic cables, such as CAT5, SE, CAT6, low voltage cables
  • 5+ years of relevant experience creating and supporting enterprise networking solutions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cloud provider's technologies to advise, identify, create, and deliver infrastructure services
  • Must have experience with proposing innovative solutions to problems in areas of functional expertise
  • Ability to work and analyze both independently and as part of a team
