Remote Sensing Scientist
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Remote Sensing Scientist to join a multi-disciplinary team focused on overhead persistent IR sensors for the Department of Defense.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop models representing the behavior of point and standoff sensors
- Conduct data analysis and develop image processing approaches for object detection
- Support testing and evaluation of software and analytics tools in various environments
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in physics, electrical engineering, or a related field
- Proficient in Matlab and Python, or other scripting languages
- Experience in signal or image processing and exploitation of remote sensing data
- Eagerness to learn new tools and techniques
- Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a Department of Defense secret security clearance
