Job Summary
Supporting the VA ESOM contract, the full-time Remote ServiceNow Technical Writer will develop, edit, and maintain documentation for the ServiceNow platform, collaborating with program teams and subject matter experts to ensure clarity and accuracy in operational support materials.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, edit, and maintain ServiceNow documentation including SOPs, runbooks, and user guides
- Collaborate with program teams and ServiceNow SMEs to document platform administration and operational support processes
- Maintain version control and ensure consistent style and format across all ServiceNow documentation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Information Technology, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a technical writer, specifically with ServiceNow or comparable ITSM environments
- Strong writing and editing skills, capable of translating complex technical content for diverse audiences
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple documentation requests against deadlines
