Remote Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Identity Management rebuild initiative, the full-time Remote Software Engineer will design, build, test, deploy, and operate scalable APIs, microservices, and data-intensive backend services, utilizing Python and PySpark while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support backend services and RESTful APIs for the Identity Management initiative
• Implement resilient microservice patterns and create automated tests integrated into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with product, data engineering, and security teams to deliver priorities and communicate project progress

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building and operating enterprise services, backend services, APIs, or microservices
• 5+ years of experience with Python, including object-oriented programming and maintainable coding practices
• 3+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs and working with API specifications and documentation
• 3+ years of experience with PySpark for distributed processing and data validation
• 2+ years of experience with Azure Databricks or similar platforms for data-intensive use cases
