Job Summary

A management and technology consulting company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Software Security Operations Specialist II.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Performing cybersecurity activities
  • Providing analysis support and guidance to Tier 1 Security Analyst personnel
  • Conducting computer network defense (CND) triage

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 4-year college degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience, or 5 years of relevant experience
  • 3 years of experience in cybersecurity
  • Security+ certification and/or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • Experience demonstrating strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for cybersecurity
  • Knowledge of NIST and FISMA guidelines
  • Experience with Intrusion Detection and Preventions Systems (IDS/IPS)
