Remote Software Security Operations Specialist II
Job Summary
A management and technology consulting company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Software Security Operations Specialist II.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Performing cybersecurity activities
- Providing analysis support and guidance to Tier 1 Security Analyst personnel
- Conducting computer network defense (CND) triage
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 4-year college degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience, or 5 years of relevant experience
- 3 years of experience in cybersecurity
- Security+ certification and/or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Experience demonstrating strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for cybersecurity
- Knowledge of NIST and FISMA guidelines
- Experience with Intrusion Detection and Preventions Systems (IDS/IPS)
