Job Summary

To facilitate effective communication, the contracted Remote Spanish Consecutive Interpreter will provide interpretation services during phone calls and meetings, ensuring clarity and professionalism while adhering to industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consecutive interpretation services during various over-the-phone situations
• Listen carefully to the speaker and convey messages accurately in the target language
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity throughout the interpretation process

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience or 3000 hours of active interpretation
• Proficiency in at least two languages (source and target languages)
• Proof of English language proficiency with a "technical proficiency" rating
• Completion of Mock Call assessment with a passing score
• Technical infrastructure to support interpretation assignments (headset, stable internet, laptop)
