Remote SQL Senior Database Administrator
Job Summary
A software company has an open position for a Remote SQL Senior Database Administrator.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Designing and Managing Always-On cluster environment
- Planning and managing patch application on all database servers
- Designing, documenting, implementing, monitoring, securing and supporting SQL Server database systems
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 10+ years of experience in SQL Server database administration
- 2+ years of experience in any other database administration
- Large database (5+ TB) administration
- BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong communication skills
- Hands-on experience in developing PowerShell scripts for monitoring, automation, and deployments
