Remote Staff Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Remote Staff Engineer will develop and maintain various platforms for the MyQ program, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new features and ensure high-quality code standards.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact across multiple scrum teams for implementing mobile app features
- Analyze requirements and collaborate with architects to produce software designs of high complexity
- Lead technical discussions and mentor junior and senior engineers to enhance the development team's capabilities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of native experience in Swift for iOS or Kotlin for Android development
- Experience working in a larger team environment and with Git for source control
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum
- Expertise in RESTful services and UI patterns such as MVC and MVVM
