Remote Staff Scientist in Radiology

Job Summary

To advance wave-based tomographic image reconstruction, the full-time Remote Staff Scientist in Radiology will develop and evaluate computational methods, apply information theory to assess image quality, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on research projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Develops and implements image reconstruction methods for photoacoustic and ultrasound computed tomography
• Designs and conducts computational studies, analyzes data, and prepares manuscripts and technical reports
• Collaborates with imaging scientists and engineers to enhance imaging systems and reconstruction algorithms

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 3 years of experience in laboratory operations
• PhD in Electrical Engineering or related discipline preferred
• Advanced knowledge of applied mathematics, physics, and information theory
• Experience in scientific computer programming
