Remote Support Specialist

Job Summary

To support a dynamic healthcare environment, the part-time Remote Support Service Specialist will maintain procedural standards, serve as a liaison between internal users and vendors, and address moderately complex user and application issues while ensuring compliance with Internal Audit Guidelines and HIPAA regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Complete timely reconciliation of SSC and vendor processes through accounts receivable analysis
• Assist with Medhost support tasks, including Net Down and Log Reconciliation
• Investigate root causes of user and application issues, adapting workflow as necessary

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or Finance preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in the healthcare revenue cycle or business office required
• 2-4 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle or business office preferred
