Remote Systems Analyst III
Job Summary
To support the Center for Survey Statistics and Methodology, the part-time Remote Systems Analyst III will manage geospatial data processing, perform quality assurance on imagery, and develop automation tools while collaborating with federal agencies and contractors.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform QA/QC of geospatial data and resolve imagery alignment issues
- Develop Python scripts and manage geospatial workflows to enhance efficiency
- Coordinate with contractors and partners to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience
- Experience with geospatial data, GIS, and remote sensing applications
- Proficiency in Python scripting and familiarity with ArcGIS or QGIS
- Experience in data quality assurance/quality control for complex datasets
- Ability to coordinate technical projects and work with multi-agency partners
