Remote Teacher

Job Summary

Working remotely as an independent contractor, the Teacher will instruct courses at scheduled times, grade assignments promptly, and maintain communication with students and families while supporting a classical Christian education environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach courses in accordance with the Veritas Statement of Faith and VSA Teacher Handbook
• Grade and return assignments within specified timeframes and provide quarterly comments on student progress
• Communicate regularly with students and families regarding performance and course expectations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; an advanced degree is desirable
• Conversant with and supportive of the reformed faith and classical Christian education
• Strong biblical worldview and understanding of the relevant discipline
• Proficient in using learning technologies and effective communication tools
• Passionate about working with children and committed to fostering student relationships
