Remote Technical Alarm Specialist

Job Summary

Providing remote support for installation and servicing of customer alarm equipment, the full-time Remote Technical Alarm Specialist will engage with customers to understand their security needs, troubleshoot technical issues, and promote security device sales while working from a private home office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers to assess their security needs and recommend appropriate products
• Deliver technical assistance through scheduled outbound calls, ensuring effective solutions for existing customers
• Troubleshoot and install a variety of ADT products, clearly communicating issues and resolutions to enhance customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college credits or a degree preferred
• At least 1 year of technical service experience is required
• One year of home security systems technician experience is highly preferred
• Strong technical aptitude and excellent problem-solving skills
• A private, quiet work area with adequate internet bandwidth is necessary for the remote position
