Remote Technical Analyst
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Remote Technical Analyst will connect business needs with application development by creating and refining technical user stories, analyzing application behavior, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
Key responsibilities
- Review business requirements and translate them into detailed technical user stories for development and QA
- Analyze application PHP code and use MS-SQL to validate data and assess impacts of changes
- Serve as a communication link among business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and QA, ensuring clarity on technical details and system impacts
Required qualifications
- Experience as a Technical Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role supporting application development
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL and ability to query and interpret data
- Ability to read PHP code and understand application logic
- Experience writing acceptance criteria and documenting business rules and dependencies
- Understanding of application architecture, databases, integrations, and the software development lifecycle
