Job Summary
A telecommunications and IT services firm is filling a position for a Remote Telecommunications and Information Technology Reverse Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Extracting known malware family configurations based on reverse engineering results
- Contributing to the creation and dissemination of finished cyber threat intelligence products and briefings
- Building and maintaining trust relationships with other intelligence teams, law enforcement, and other outside groups
Qualifications for this position include:
- Experience writing Yara rules and triaging files
- Experience in Python and familiarity with software prototyping
- Knowledge of Windows OS internals - PE file format, memory, threads, processes, API, etc
- Proficiency in debugger/disassembler usage
- Ability to analyze packed and(/or) obfuscated code
- Ability to reverse engineer network protocols and re-implement them in Python
