Remote Upgrades Engineer
Job Summary
Leading upgrades of Baxter Care Communications products, the full-time Remote Upgrades Engineer will perform site assessments, upgrade applications on servers and devices, and collaborate with customers' IT teams while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Perform detailed assessments and lead upgrades of existing product installations
- Drive technical discussions regarding complex integrations with internal teams and third-party partners
- Validate performance, quality, and reliability post-upgrade for all products
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or a minimum of 4 years equivalent experience in software and/or networking
- Knowledge in SQL/Scripting, Networking (TCP/IP), and Enterprise-level hardware
- Preferred certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator
- Advanced understanding of Microsoft Windows and Linux-based platforms
- Experience configuring and debugging Windows and Linux systems
