Job Summary

A healthcare insurance company has a current position open for a Remote Utilization Management Behavioral Health Lead.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Overseeing utilization of behavioral health services
  • Advising executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance
  • Managing BH UM staff and coordinate with Medical Directors on questions of medical necessity

Required Skills:

  • Applicable State licensure in the state you reside
  • One to two (1-2) years of experience with the utilization review process
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in Behavioral Health and/or substance abuse rehabilitation
  • Previous leadership experience
