Remote vCISO Consultant
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Remote vCISO Consultant will assess clients' Information Security Programs, develop tailored strategies for cyber risk management, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on information security matters.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as Information Security Subject Matter Expert for Executive leadership
- Develop annual strategic plans and project roadmaps to enhance security measures
- Conduct annual risk assessments and create remediation plans based on security evaluations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in cybersecurity (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years' experience in Information Security
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Expertise in security frameworks such as CIS, NIST, CMMC, HIPAA/HITECH, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001/2
