Remote Video Editor

Job Summary

Producing polished and engaging video content across various platforms, the Remote Video Editor will work flexibly in a part-time, full-time, or contract capacity to create short-form clips, longer explainer videos, and internal communications for a fast-paced startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos such as Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts to capture attention quickly
• Create longer-form content including explainer videos, brand materials, and internal communications
• Add motion graphics and text overlays while optimizing content for different social media platforms

Required qualifications

• Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut)
• A portfolio or reel demonstrating experience with both short-form and longer content
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement techniques
• Ability to deliver high-quality edits under tight deadlines
• Self-directed with the capability to work independently on projects
