A virtual reality training company is filling a position for a Remote Virtual Reality Training Senior Character Artist.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Leading visual design of next-gen avatars
- Customizing hair, teeth, and eyes for each avatar
- Enhancing realistic avatar skin textures
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5 years in the AAA game development industry
- Proficiency in 2D/3D authoring software
- Strong portfolio showcasing character work
- Strong eye for light, shade, color, and detail in creating photo-real shaders and materials
- Experience with hair/fur grooming and polygon hair / facial hair pipelines
- Understanding of PBR texture authoring as it relates to human skin, hair, eyes, and teeth
