Job Summary
A software solutions company has an open position for a Remote Vulnerability Analyst.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Ensuring the completeness and correctness of the advisory data
- Reviewing, fully documenting, curating and publishing security advisories
- Working as part of a remote and geographically diverse team
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Once a year the entire team gets together at an inspiring location to meet, work and play
- Experience in the field of information security, system administration, or open-source software maintenance
- Experience working with online communities
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages and their associated packaging ecosystems
- Strong understanding of open-source software development and packaged software
- Be able to provide a technical writing sample
