Job Summary
As a mid-level Renewable Development Engineer, the full-time position will focus on designing preliminary PV, BESS, and Wind projects while serving as the primary liaison between internal and external stakeholders, with flexibility for both in-office and remote work options.
Key responsibilities
- Designs PV, BESS, and Wind projects across the US, delivering preliminary designs and ensuring technical requirements are met
- Acts as a liaison between the solar design team and relevant stakeholders, providing engineering and technical support
- Self-schedules design activities and maintains strong relationships with clients and vendors while adhering to safety standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
- 1-4 years of relevant engineering or field experience
- Experience with energy modeling using PVsyst and proficiency in AutoCAD
- Basic understanding of electrical and civil engineering, particularly in PV solar
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a fast-paced design environment
