Job Summary
Supporting the land development of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects, the full-time remote Renewables Civil Designer will collaborate with engineering teams to deliver innovative design solutions, focusing on civil design tasks such as road layout and site grading using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Key responsibilities
- Complete detailed civil design solutions in collaboration with project engineers
- Apply industry design standards and coach team members on best practices
- Develop and refine design and drafting standards for BESS projects
Required qualifications
- Associate or technical degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent
- 6-8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, including 3-4+ years in large land development project design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and large-scale site grading design
- Experience with Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Authorization to work permanently in the US
