Job Summary
Leading hands-on design for research and experimental creative work, the full-time Designer, Research and Experiments will define visual direction, build prototypes, and translate complex research concepts into engaging narratives in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with researchers and creative leads to define design problems and establish visual direction
- Translate research concepts into visual narratives while collaborating with subject-matter experts
- Develop concepts and prototypes for experiments and demos, maintaining coherence across various media formats
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating senior-level design judgment
- Experience in shaping visual direction and delivering projects from exploration to final production
- Strong graphic design fundamentals with experience in creating flexible visual systems
- Curiosity to understand complex research and preserve technical meaning in visual storytelling
- Familiarity with research storytelling, creative technology, and interactive or experiential work
