Research Assistant

Job Summary

To support faculty-led research on adolescent and family mental health, the part-time hourly Research Assistant will focus on qualitative data analysis and preparation of research findings, primarily working remotely under the guidance of a faculty principal investigator.

Key responsibilities

• Reviewing and organizing qualitative interview transcripts and research materials
• Conducting qualitative coding and data organization using Dedoose
• Assisting with the preparation and revision of manuscripts, abstracts, and other research products

Required qualifications

• Interest in qualitative research and/or social, behavioral, health, or related research
• Ability to manage research materials and complete assigned tasks reliably and accurately
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while effectively communicating with a faculty supervisor
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
