Research Assistant

Job Summary

Self-motivated and independent, the full-time remote Research Assistant will conduct research and write briefs focused on promoting regulated cannabis access and public safety initiatives for the Executive Director.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research to identify working groups advocating for regulated cannabis access in multiple states
• Write research briefs to support the Executive Director's initiatives and policy recommendations
• Engage in project-based work centered on reducing teen access to cannabis and enhancing public safety

Required qualifications

• Basic knowledge of research methodologies and policy analysis
• Experience or coursework related to cannabis policy or public safety
• Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an undergraduate, graduate, or law program
• Authorization to work in the United States throughout the internship duration
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
